Harbor Beach Lighthouse
Enjoy one of the nicest lighthouses on the sunrise side of Lake Huron located in Harbor Beach. located on the shores of Lake Huron in Michigan's thumb. Guided tours are available on Saturdays in the summer.
Experience the boat ride with harbor and break wall information and learn about the history of this communityʼs most recognizable and award-winning landmark. The Preservation Society tour guides provide you with a glimpse of the life of a lightkeeper, answer questions, and will help take photos Enjoy a short boat ride to the lighthouse and learn about it’s history from friendly and informative volunteer docents.
Tours are conducted on Saturdays from late June 18th through the first weekend of September. The boat leaves the Harbor Beach Marina starting at 9:00 am and then every 30 minutes. Don’t forget your camera. The 360-degree view from the top of the lighthouse is one you will not forget. The best photo op is on the gallery level of the lighthouse, taken through the porthole. Tour guides are happy to help you with this once-in-a-lifetime memory.
